Over the course of our lives, we develop emotional, spiritual, and physical wounds that it make it harder to connect with others and to feel authentically real. We end up building walls intended to keep us safe. These walls end up encasing us in patterns that bring feelings of rejection, sadness, shame and fear. They hamper our ability to progress, have quality relationships, and find happiness. My philosophy is to create a safe, therapeutic environment in which you can be heard and supported while developing strategies to remove the barriers keeping you from being authentic and connecting to others.
I am a therapist, author, business consultant and teacher. I have experience working with individuals overcoming addictions, couples struggling in their relationships, and individuals who have experience trauma in their lives. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples therapy (EFT), the only research verified couples counseling model in existence.
The basis of my work is focused on attachment issues and how we respond when we don't feel connected to ourselves, our loved ones and the world around us. I help individuals find healthy ways to get needs met and increase overall sense of well-being.

Path to Freedom from Sexual Addiction
The Path to Freedom Program is an evidence-supported men's group for those struggling to overcome sexually compulsive behaviors. This program explores the roots of these unwanted behaviors as well as providing strategies to stop them from moving forward. It is the only clinically-based sexual addiction recovery program in Yuma County.
