As a therapist, I desire to help others to heal from trauma, trials, and pain. We can sometimes carry our past with us in our bodies, and not realize it. If we do not properly process those past hurts, trials and traumas we continue to carry them with us through life. By working with clients to process those hurts, those past memories will no longer be triggers, but to just be a memory. I believe that there can be healing, and it is my desire to help others through that process.
I am available to work with those of any age and stage in life. I am currently licensed as an LPC-MHSP and School Counselor. I use a combination of talk therapy, CBT, Brainspotting and trauma therapy with clients. The techniques area tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
I have learned that our past does not have to define us, and that is a lesson that I continue to instill in my clients and my own kids. Although our past may not define us, we can sometimes carry our past with us in our bodies, and not realize it so it is important to notice that and heal.
