Growing up in a dysfunctional family, I didn’t learn how to cope with my emotions, let alone the ups and downs that life throws at us! In our sessions, I want you to know that you aren’t alone. I believe that my 35-year recovery journey gives me a unique perspective of what it means to live a life worth living. When we meet, I want you to feel safe and understood so that someday you can reflect on this challenging time and be grateful you were brave enough to take the steps to heal.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and provide comprehensive DBT services. Comprehensive DBT offers individual weekly therapy, DBT skills class, and between session skills coaching. I also use trauma focused interventions, including EMDR, DBT-PE, and inner child work.
Knowing we need help is the first step; with knowledge comes power! I understand the feelings of disconnect that depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation cause. I can help you begin to connect with yourself so that your connections with family, friends, and your community is strengthened and become a source of contentment and peace.

Cultivating Self Compassion

I'm excited to offer another 4 week journey on Cultivating Self-Compassion. We will meet Mondays June 10-July 1 from noon to 1:30. This is a four week group focusing on cultivating self compassion. The group is held via Zoom and will cover topics such as mindfulness, boundary setting, and quieting the inner critic. Cost for the group is $45 per session.
