I am a trauma-informed LGBTQIA+-affirming licensed professional counselor (LPC) practicing in the state of Ohio. It is important to me to work with a diverse population with a variety of presenting issues. I have experience working with clients with traumatic stress injuries, dealing with issues of identity, having difficulty making meaning of their life, having difficulties related to anxiety and depression, and clients experiencing obsessive thinking or compulsions. I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals and aim to provide an open and affirming counseling experience.
I believe in working with both the past and the present to build skills for managing current stressors and difficulties while identifying and addressing the origins of patterns of thinking and behaving. Difficult past experiences can set us up for a variety of struggles in life. By addressing these core issues we can get you to a better life.
