As a resident counselor I aim to provide person-centered therapy that is focused on building rapport with the client to ensure that they feel heard and validated. I also deliver evidence based practices when necessary to ensure that the therapy being provided is safe & ethical above all else. Counseling should be tailored to the individual's needs, and I will work with anyone to help develop a treatment plan that meets those needs adequately.

As a resident counselor my goal is to assist potential clients with regulating their emotions, increasing goal-directed behavior, and understanding/managing their mental health symptoms. My specialty would be in active listening, and working with the individual to identify their needs and how I can assist them in fulfilling these needs.
