Hi, my name is Travis Hopper and I am an LPC Candidate. Psychotherapy can be rewarding no matter if you find yourself in the middle of or at the very beginning of life’s challenges. Difficulties arise for us, more often than not, when our circumstances change and our old solutions no longer work, become self-defeating, and yet we continue to apply them anyway.
My overarching goal for therapy is to help people find new possibilities and expand their freedom and their choices through a caring, supportive therapeutic relationship. While I am familiar with and rely on a wide range of psychological theories, I am rooted in psychoanalytic theory and techniques.
I work with adolescent and adult individuals and couples facing a variety of issues like grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship distress and adjustment disorders. I have a growing measure of life and work experience. Contact me for more information.
