Accepting new clients! My name is Kalli Kembel, LICSW. I am a generalist practitioner trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches to work with individuals and families. I operate from a humanistic perspective, which is client-centered and focuses on strengths, while empowering clients to overcome obstacles and become their favorite version of themselves. I believe it is my role to assist clients in building resilience, strengthening relationships, developing self-awareness and enhancing acceptance of self. I also aid clients in developing skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance and emotional regulation.
I approach therapy from a holistic perspective to better understand each client and how I can best support them from a culturally competent standpoint. I also place high importance in creating an authentic therapeutic connection between client and therapist which fosters trust and growth.
