We are often faced with overcoming challenges that can feel impossible, and we don't just get over a traumatic event; we are forced to create space for it in our lives by learning ways to thrive despite it. The trauma one is handed often is no fault of our own; healing from it becomes part of our journey. My goal is to incorporate creativity, acknowledge and encourage the unique perspectives of my clients, and meet them where they are in life.
My counseling approach is centered on the Client-Centered Counseling approach to Counseling and Mindfulness-Based Counseling. Counseling approaches include CBT, ACT, and DBT, emphasizing self-esteem building. Treating symptoms: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and challenges with life transitions.
My objective is to inspire others to become empowered and motivate them to engage in critical self-reflection that promotes growth and development, along with the power to change the lives of others through knowledge that is based on liberation and healing.
