My name is Tracy Woo, and I have been a licensed marriage and family therapist for over 13 years. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in different stages of their lives. I believe challenges come to us for a reason, and it's how we approach them with strength and understanding that makes all the difference in the world. My interest is working with transitional-age youth and guiding them to become successful individuals that are confident and self-loving. My passion is to assist the AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) community with their mental health needs.
I believe in the short-term, solution-focused therapy modalities that focus on the individual finding the answers to their struggles within themselves. We all have a story to tell, and I like to think of myself as a guide to writing one's own story.
I like for my clients to feel safe, comfortable, and at home speaking with me. Much like talking with an old friend that you're catching up with. While therapy sessions may go deep, and we may talk about difficult topics, my goal is to act as a self-reflective mirror to guide individuals to find their own solutions.
