Hi, my name is Tracy Thompson, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Master's of Social Work degree at the University of Central Florida in 2005 and became licensed in 2009. I utilize a person-centered, strengths approach to getting to know you and your goals. I have worked with individuals, families and groups, ages 3 through 89, in a variety of settings.
I work collaboratively with you to identify what is important to you and how progress will be measured. Progress towards your goals will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that we have not lost focus.
During the first session I have lots of questions I can ask, however I primarily want to hear from you what has lead up to your seeking therapy and what you are hoping to gain from it.
