I offer in-person appointments at my office in Rittenhouse Square or virtual sessions, including Sunday hours. Clients seeking to be more confident and effective are likely to work well with me. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families from a positive psychology perspective, helping them to use strengths to improve their moods and lives. I can help clients and their loved ones overcome trauma, anxiety, and addiction, and I can help clients improve their relationships and career success. Developed over more than 20 years of experience, my interpersonal style is non-judgmental, encouraging, and solution-oriented.
I have extensive experience working with executives, physicians, and other professionals as well as students. I am certified in EMDR for treating trauma and relationship injuries, and I have been trained to use IFS-informed EMDR to help people to better understand their personalities. I am certified in the CRAFT approach to helping families handle addiction.
My background is in positive psychology and substance abuse. Before I started my private practice, I was the director of the Charles O'Brien Center for Addiction Treatment at the University of Pennsylvania. I am happy to provide either therapy or coaching. www.tracysteen.com
