As a licensed psychologist and AASECT certified sex therapist, I work with a variety of mental health and sexuality concerns. I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process where the client and the therapist work together to facilitate positive change. Therapy can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping for issues such as depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, relationship troubles or marital conflicts, sexual difficulties, unresolved childhood issues, bereavement, & spiritual conflicts.
Sexuality has been accepted as a universal human experience that is comprised of multiple components. It is important to note that although individuals and couples seek therapy for a variety of reasons that may not be related to sexuality; they may still experience a wide range of sexuality concerns. As an AASECT certified sex therapist I can help.
Each person in a relationship brings their own unique set of experiences and strengths. That’s part of what makes an intimate connection so fulfilling, and at times, so challenging. Couples work often focuses on increasing the awareness of these experiences and differences and how they may influence interactions with our partner.
