I consider it to be such a privilege to be able to work with clients at the most difficult times in their lives, and to travel the journey with them through recovery, healing, change and self-awareness. I aim to help each client with their own work toward strength, toward purpose, and toward restoration.
I utilize a broad range of interventions to treat the most challenging issues, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and other right-brain modalities such as meditation and guided imagery to restore balance and a sense of peace within clients.
My hope is for the client to feel affirmed, relaxed and comfortable in our sessions. I graduated with Distinguished Honors from the University of Maryland with a Masters in Social Work, with a clinical concentration in Mental/Behavioral Health. I have worked in the mental health/substance abuse field for fifteen years.

Substance Abuse Relapse Prevention Group
Currently running groups several times a week for substance abuse clients in recovery. Groups meet for 90 minutes and focus on maintaining daily life in recovery. We discuss family issues, coping strategies, trigger awareness, relapse prevention and building a network.
