I have eighteen years' experience counseling children and families and have worked in Early Intervention, Residential, Schools, In-Home Therapy, and Outpatient Counseling. I specialize in young children but also enjoy working with adults. Note that sessions take place in an office OR on a horse farm, depending on the day of the week sessions are scheduled.
Horses are powerful animals who respond to our energy and help us build awareness of how we present to the world. Counseling uses these insights to support change and empowerment. Play is a metaphorical language through which children can communicate needs and feelings. Play Therapy uses that language to validate and create a safe space to experience change.
