I have over 20 yrs. experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and military families addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management, self-esteem, suicidality, grief and loss, family conflict, parenting skills, emotion regulation, self-harm, and trauma.
My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, as well as utilizing the individual’s strengths to help work through identified issues. I have practiced in community and inpatient settings, as well as in schools providing individual, family and group therapy.
I am an encourager, and active listener but I believe in challenging my clients, within their comfort and consent, to reach their potential and find their peace.
