Thirteen years ago, I found myself struggling with addiction. Through treatment, therapy, and recovery group participation, I was able to rebuild my life and connect with the best parts of myself. I decided to return to school and dedicate my life to helping others in their healing journeys. I have over a decade of experience working with individuals who struggle with substance use disorders and mental health issues. I am certified in dialectical behavior therapy and passionate about helping clients make positive growth changes. My job is to work myself out of a job by helping people identify and achieve goals.
I have participated in several specialized trainings in dialectical behavior therapy to become certified in DBT. I provide psychoeducation and immediate tools that my clients can utilize to increase mindfulness, tolerate distress, strengthen interpersonal effectiveness, and improve emotional regulation. I help individuals, couples and families achieve goals.
As a strengths-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I combine my therapeutic lens and strong case management skills to assist people with connecting to the best parts of themselves and finding healthy ways to cope with pain, trauma, resentments, anxiety, depression, and many other challenges.
