I believe in the potential of transformation, whether it's exploring a sober lifestyle, managing recurrent depression and/or anxiety, or coming to terms with one's unique purpose in life. Awareness is key to change.
I believe change necessitates self-knowledge not only through exploratory conversation, but possibly through action: journaling, making images, role playing-- all in a nurturing, non-judgemental envrionment. As an artist (as well as a psychotherapist) I believe in the power of creativity to unlock potential.
My clients include individuals, couples and groups: those struggling with addiction, complusive behaviors, depression and anxiety, change of life issues, and issues of sexual identity/orientation. I find it very gratifying to work with the GLBT community.
