Dr. Karen Ferguson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in both Arizona and California with over 35 years of experience. She has worked with individuals of all ages and families who are coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting, low self-esteem, attachment issues, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, and abuse. She has significant experience working with those who have suffered child abuse and those who have lived through foster care. I offer counseling and talk therapy services; however, I do not currently offer psychological testing.

Sonoran Life Solutions is an outpatient counseling office with locations in Peoria and Goodyear. We offer some of the lowest private pay rates: $100 to see a Independently Licensed Therapist and $65 to see our amazing Life Coach or our counseling interns. We are a group of 21. We are licensed through the AZBBHE. We provide individual, couples, and family therapy. We are open Mon-Fri 7a-9p and Sat from 8a-5p. We accept almost all insurance plans. We also accept most Employee Assistance Programs. SLS believes in making counseling services affordable for those who need it.

Hello my name is Patty Smith and I'm a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling. I have 6+ years' experience in the counseling field. I have been blessed to work with a diverse population from infants to the elderly, which includes helping individuals, teens, couples, veterans, and group work. My passion is working with children. I am skilled in working with domestic violence, substance abuse, suicide prevention, crisis work, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, marital, and family issues.

As a Clinical Child Psychologist, I have worked with children Birth to 25 years of age for over 19 years. In treatment I focus on the use of Play Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My specialties including working with clients who experience Reactive Attachment Disorder, ASD, Developmental Delays, Mood Disorders including Bipolar Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Trauma, and ADHD. I work with children and adolescents individually as well as within their family system to help increase their functionality across daily settings. Az Young Child Counseling is a Northwest Valley group practice committed to helping young children and parents move from surviving to thriving. We serve children from birth to 12 years old. We also provide parent-only services and support in the area of perinatal mental health.

I hold an MA degree in Counseling from Ottawa University and an MA in education from Arizona State University. In addition, I hold an advanced Graduate Specialization in Marriage and Family therapy. I am an LPC, and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. I am trauma informed and practice from an attachment-base model.
