I work with adults processing a variety of issues including trauma, grief, relationships, complicated life transitions, depression, anxiety, and more. We can tend to feel “stuck” during difficult periods of our lives, or even start to form negative beliefs about ourselves as a result of trauma. Thoughts such as “I’m not good enough”, “something is wrong with me”, or “I’m permanently damaged”, “I can’t trust myself or others” etc.
I view therapy as a tool towards self actualization and helping clients to grow into their greatest good and highest purpose. I am trained in EMDR and other research based theories to help change the way trauma is stored in the body and mind. You are the expert of your life and I am a curious companion following your lead.
I treat individuals and couples. I earned a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and an EMDR certification through training at the Institute of Creative Mindfulness. I have years of experience as a counselor and completed a residency under supervision to be independently licensed as an LPCC
