Good psychotherapy helps you connect more deeply with what truly matters in your life. Feelings of being stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or depressed can act as signals indicating a need for change. My role is to help you decode these signals, creating a collaborative environment apart from everyday life where we can understand them together, and to empower you to achieve the changes you desire. In addition to my private practice, I am Assistant Director for Psychotherapy Innovation at Mass General's outpatient substance use treatment facility and hold a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School.
I have extensive clinical training and experience working with a variety of concerns, but specialize in work involving substance use issues as well as trauma and PTSD. I am adept at supporting adults seeking to reduce or cease alcohol or drug use, as well as those interested in harm reduction without significantly altering their use pattern.
I aim to meet people where they are at and fully respect their autonomy. My therapeutic approach is person-centered. I draw on a wide range of methodologies to best meet your needs and wants.
