Hey there! I'm a therapist that specializes in couple's therapy and individual therapy for men ages 15-35. My primary expertise are in trauma reprocessing/integration, infidelity recovery/repair, and attachment maintenance in family systems. On any given day you could find me helping a young man processing life's struggles, a couple seeking healing from a constant sense of disconnection, or a family needing deeper connection through new experiences of one another. Whatever the situation, I love coming alongside others to journey with them towards wholeheartedness.

My practice is centered around helping women and children cope with difficult emotions and express themselves with confidence. When children experience big emotions, they usually do not know how to talk about them. Kids teach us so much about their inner world if we just watch them play. I am passionate about helping kids have a better understanding of their emotions, learn to regulate them, and support caregivers with strengthen their relationship with their child. I also aim to empower women to set boundaries, process emotions, and heal from traumatic events. I follow your pace and give you space to heal in your own time.

Patricia received her Master of Science from Lee University in 2016. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Tennessee. Patricia's counseling services are available via telehealth. Patricia is trained and experienced in trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and simply adjusting to life. Her treatment model is trauma-informed and integrative psychotherapy including clinical training in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Level 1 Complex Trauma Treatment Professional Training, current training telehealth trauma certification.

Hi! I’m Kate. If you’re here, you’re already brave. It takes tremendous bravery and courage to seek professional help, to sit with and process some feelings of hurt. I believe it to be an incredible privilege to work as a counselor. To be trusted with some of the most vulnerable places in an individual’s life is an honor and I will uphold your story with integrity. I believe in the concept of wellness, in healing the whole person rather than a diagnosis or a problem. I consider counseling to be beneficial for all people, regardless of what may bring someone into my space. I would love to work together towards a journey of healing!

Central to my therapeutic philosophy is the belief that everyone is deserving of a space where they are free to be their authentic self. I have experience helping individuals who have experienced trauma, sexuality exploration, life transitions, relational problems, and a wide range of other mental health struggles with children, adolescents, and adults. I have been in the practice of Social Work many years. I have a thirst for learning and I greet change with open arms. I completed my training as a nurse at age 55 and have incorporated my nursing skills with my years of Social Work training and experience. During this time I have learned that all people have their answers inside and my job is to help them recognize and build on those answers. Having experienced many situations in my own life I’ve learned to persist and sometimes back up and regroup. I have a lot of joy in my life and hope to help you find yours. I offer animal assisted therapy with Teddy, 5 yo Wheaten Terrier.

I am convinced that there is incredible power and healing in experiencing genuine, authentic relationships. I have a passion for helping families and young people. Parenting in all stages of life can be difficult, which is why I seek to provide support, understanding, and tools to help enhance your family relationships. I work directly with caregivers to manage behaviors of toddlerhood. I connect well with middle schoolers who find it difficult to connect with others. I also enjoy helping teenagers find hope and healing while overcoming depression and trauma. I’m like a teacher in that you should learn something from me, like a doctor in that you should overcome symptoms, and like a firefighter in that I help keep kids safe.

I am passionate about story, visual arts, paying attention to attachment wounds, and a holistic view of the person as emotional, spiritual, and physical. I enjoy using therapeutic art practices with my clients to explore many aspects of hurt and healing. I have several years of experience working in mental and behavioral health treatment, with a variety of ages. I currently desire to work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, codependency, trauma post-traumatic stress, and other life stressors. I believe we are formed by both the things we have experienced and the relationships we have been a part of.

I believe that the role of a counselor is to be a "fellow traveler" for someone struggling with the difficulties of life. I am passionate about meeting people in the midst of their struggles and helping them navigate the delicate balance of acceptance and change. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who can help those on their journey to making peace with food and their body.
