My favorite part of what I do is getting to hear other people’s stories and how they came to be at the place that they are right now. All of us, including myself, have been through times when we’re hurting and we don’t know what direction to go. I often say, “The thing that is worse than hurting is hurting alone.” One of the biggest benefits of counseling is connection. I believe connection is more healing than any pill, program, or self-help book. That’s why I take being invited into my clients’ stories very seriously. It’s an honor to get to walk alongside folks as they decide to get to the hard work of making changes and healing.

I’m a Neurodivergent (ND) therapist, offering ND affirming and trauma-informed therapy. My clients are Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and/or a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). They may be well into this identity, processing this new discovery, or questioning if it fits. Common goals of my clients are to deal with overstimulation, recover from burnout, manage executive functioning challenges, find meaningful relationships, improve their communication, understand and cope with their emotions, heal from trauma, and figure out who they are through an ND lens.

I have a genuine interest in learning and connecting with others. I strive for authenticity, acceptance, awareness, autonomy, compassion, and a growth mindset for myself and for my clients. While techniques and modalities may vary depending on the client's goals, I first and foremost, strive to create for all clients a therapeutic environment centered upon safety, empathy, trust, and respect. As Brené Brown said, "Never underestimate the power of being seen."
