Willed by Wellness, LLC was founded by Dr. Courtney Williams and is designed to serve Black womxn and girls specifically on issues of mental health and wellness. We offer services and resources, culturally-responsive for this population. Our clients are aged 13 years old and older. Clients who work with us navigate a wide range of challenges from relationship concerns, mood disorders, grief, role transitions, etc. We offer consultation services and trainings to companies who work with this population. My ideal clients are those who are dealing with anxiety, adverse childhood experiences, codependency, communication, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, self-defeating beliefs, stress & traumatic experiences. Who are currently desiring support, balance & peace, but certain blocks have gotten in the way of finding enjoyment in life. Overtime, these blocks have disrupted your state of balance. Calming the nervous system is the foundation for this process. Choosing to invest in yourself is where you begin.

There are times life becomes difficult. Obstacles present themselves and you just need guidance on how to overcome or cope with them. Generational challenges, including trauma, addictions, communication problems, and stress could cause a once balanced lifestyle become chaotic. Life happens and everyone needs an advocate. For those times I am there to help clients, move forward and maneuver life, family, career, and social interactions.

Most sessions will be conducted via Telehealth. My goal is to help you gain the insight, clarity and understanding you seek to resolve relationship issues and/or decrease anxiety, depression and personality difficulties whether yours or those around you. I have many years of varied life experience including: having lived in Chad, Africa and Italy, raised a multi-cultural, blended family, went through divorce, step-children, life transitions and family of origin dysfunction. I am a LCSW (Licensed clinical social worker) since 2006 and have been employed with Samaritan Counseling since 2014.

I believe a counselor’s role isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to assist you with determining what you want your life to be and the steps to achieving that life and your goals. Therapy is a collaborative process and I want to be your partner on your journey.
