I am Artésia R. Price, Founder and Lead Therapist at Therapy From The Hart. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in partnering with clients, ages 16-35, residing in the states of Texas & Tennessee. More specifically, I am someone who prides myself on being the person that we all need at our highest and lowest moments – a listener, an encourager, an advocate, and someone who truly believes that people do better when they can.

Taylor Kemp is a Licensed Professional Counselor (Temp) being supervised by Dr. Charles Ihrig, PhD., LPC-MHSP. Taylor received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and has been working in the mental health field in both clinical and operational management roles for 5 years. Taylor is passionate about increasing access to mental health care and is excited to bring needed services to Memphis and the surrounding areas.

My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to address whatever they are struggling with. I am non-judgmental and understand that there are reasons people are and/or feel a certain way. I love helping people understand the root of the issue and working to resolve and get healing from the issue.

TRAUMA: An overwhelming experience that is too much, too fast. If too stressed or truly overwhelmed, our natural survival responses can be blocked. If unable to complete our body’s survival responses, trauma can occur and often symptoms emerge. We can feel stuck in the fear of flight, the anger of fight or the depression of freeze. As one who facilitates healing from emotional, spiritual, and physical pain and suffering, I am dedicated to working compassionately, non-judgmentally and collaboratively with you to become "unstuck" and find a greater sense of healing and wholeness.
