My focus is working with survivors of narcissistic abuse, first responders, and couples looking to recover from infidelity. I see individuals as well as couples and if appropriate, will alternate seeing a couple together and then separately for individual sessions. I use an integrative approach that combines evidence-based practices with a personalized, holistic perspective. Whether you are struggling with infidelity, trauma, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, I am here to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and develop the skills and tools you need to achieve your goals.

I love to work with couples. Every relationship has it's ups and downs, good times and bad. I'm here to help you through those hard times with you partner, equipping you with effective tools for communication, compromise and compassion. In individual counseling we all know that no two people can experience life in the same way. That's why it's my mission to tailor every single session to your individual needs, in order to overcome hardship, manage effects of past trauma and achieve spiritual, mental, emotional and relational balance.

I am currently accepting new (individual) clients if you have availability during the day Monday-Thursday. I am not currently accepting couples or families at this time. Life can be challenging for all of us. I am here to help and support you through your unique individual challenges that you are currently experiencing. In addition to processing your experiences in therapy sessions, I will also help teach you valuable tools. If applicable to you we can also address emotional regulation so that you are able to handle your current and future challenges in a more healthy manner.

Do you feel like there is a black fog hanging over you and you just can't shake it? You're exhausted from taking care of everybody else and wonder when somebody is going to take care of you? Maybe it's not that at all, maybe you lost someone and you feel like you just can't go on. Sometimes the unthinkable happened and the world stopped. Either way, you're in a dark place with no answers and feel like there is no hope. Your nerves are shot, you can't eat or sleep. You can't think, can't get anything done and don't want to die. You also don't know how you can face tomorrow and live because the pain just never seems to end.

I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, encouraging them and giving them hope. I believe in balanced living and looking at how issues are affecting us emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. I believe in looking at things from a Christian Worldview but work with people from all viewpoints. I used to work in the corporate world so can identify with people from all walks of life and many different life experiences. I started counseling individuals in Florida as an intern many years ago. Graduated in 1997 and am licensed both in Florida and Tennessee. My family moved to Tennessee 16 years ago, we love Tennessee.

Taking new clients. I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Optum/UHC. Only EAP through Optum and Cigna, at this time. There is a major difference in 'feeling alone' and 'being alone'. Loneliness in the midst of crisis can feel suffocating, especially in our marriages and/or relationships. The counseling process can be a therapeutic alliance when all else feels lost and hopeless. Asking for help can be a very difficult process, but it is a vital first step towards healing and wellness. Let's partner up and journey together. We provide equine assisted counseling which utilizes horses in helping clients meet their counseling goals. We have a passion for working with children and families and can address target goals such as communication, relationship building, problem behaviors, anxiety, depression, etc.
