Hi, I'm Paul! I help exhausted professionals and defeated couples to find new solutions so they can get things moving again. I'm an intern at the Babb Center in Hendersonville. I provide individuals and couples a safe place to talk about their day-to-day challenges, especially those related to money, communication, career, and faith. It may be that you're going through something that needs an outsider's perspective. Or maybe you feel like each day is a major struggle. Either way, I'm here to help.

I believe all people have the internal strength to process and work through their struggles. The body knows what to do when we are hurt both physically and with our emotions, but it can be hard to understand. I work to help clients understand our pain and learn to process it into moving forward. I work from a DBT perspective. I have worked with teens, adults and couples of many different cultures and helped them to reach their goals in community and private practice settings. My passion is to help you learn to build the tomorrow you envisioned. Whether those goals be personal, professional, or familial.

Crystal Fondren is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider, who has been practicing since 2014. She graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Crystal believes in providing a safe space for her clients to feel comfortable to open up with her. She is an excellent listener and can provide a deep range of interventions ranging from psychoeducation to high-level trauma interventions and reprocessing. Crystal's approach to treatment incorporates exploration of thoughts and behavioral patterns leading to deeper self-awareness.

Joy Austin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee who has been practicing since 2018. She earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Joy is very open-minded and accepting of people from all walks of life, as well as all gender identities and sexual orientations. She has always been drawn to help people who feel as if no one really understands them and what they have been through. Joy uses play therapy with children and teens to help them explore their concerns in a safe and fun environment. She uses CBT when working with adults and is trained in EMDR with clients of all ages.

You’re tired of being haunted by past experiences. No matter what you do, you feel like you stay stuck in the same cycles as before. If you are wanting to get your therapy journey started but are unsure where to begin, I am a great fit! I can support you in exploring coping skills that work for you and help you deepen your understanding of the parts of yourself that are feeling overwhelmed. I am available for shorter-term therapy through the middle of July 2024.

This approach gives clients opportunities to form safe connection skills, in order to overcome their own struggles in their relationships.

Leslie graduated from the Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) program at the University of Tennessee in 2011. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) with the state of Tennessee. She works with individuals ages 16 and up, as well as family units. Leslie specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and offers a judgment free environment to process even the most difficult events. She is skilled in helping to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, behavioral challenges, and the stress associated with chronic illness.

Finding someone you can trust to talk to is tough. My role as a counselor is to create a safe space for people of all backgrounds, classes, orientations and creeds in order to process and receive support. My goal as a counselor is to empower, encourage, and assist my clients in improving their quality of life and making the changes necessary to achieve their goals.
