I am passionate about working with clients presenting with dual diagnoses and co-occurring disorders. I have experience working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, bi-polar I and II, PTSD, Trauma, addiction disorders, personality disorders, and OCD to name a few. I use a treatment model that is eclectic, as every client's needs vary. My passion is working with adult women, so much so it’s all I see in my practice! That’s right only women, 18 years and older. The reason I’m so passionate about working with adult women is because of the issues they face and the unique ways those issues look in a woman’s life. I bring over 10 years’ experience working directly with women and their emotional difficulties including trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relational issues and codependency, work/life balance, body image, and more.

I have a license in Tennessee in Professional Counseling, as well as a license in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. My graduate education was rooted in a family systems approach with a later focus on Christian Counseling. I have experience working with children ages 2 - 18, as well as adults of all ages, in a wide range of settings. As a result I am well prepared to work with the entire family system to help clients find long lasting healing.

The most rewarding therapy sessions occur with clients who are motivated to make progress towards the goals they set. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client is of upmost importance to the client meeting their goals. I strive to build a trusting, supportive, and safe relationship with each of my clients. I believe everyone has their own unique story to tell. I enjoy hearing that story and helping people overcome the issues that can surface over a lifetime. I see adults and adolescents in my therapy practice as well as the occasional couple.
