With individuals suffering with depression or anxiety I take a holistic approach; mind, body and spirit. I believe that God's given us the ability and infinite capacity to overcome almost anything that we face in our lives. Unfortunately, sometimes we get stuck. We get stuck by the things that we're taught or the situations that we've experienced or maybe even trauma. We also get stuck when we find ourselves in unhealthy environments like being isolated or trying to take on every situation alone. Finding ourselves stuck definitely feels helpless, but often it can feel hopeless as well.
