I believe that hope is the beginning process of healing. I work with adults and teenagers experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, complex PTSD, Schizophrenia, Bi-polar, Emotional Disturbance, Reactive Attachment Disorder and addiction. Additionally, I have an extensive background history working with teenagers and adults diagnosed with Asperger's and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I chose to become a counselor because there is a great deal of hurt and pain in the world, but not many effective resources for healing. I have seen many hurt and angry people genuinely desire change but feel so stuck, they don't even know where to begin. Throughout my journey to become a counselor, I have learned that sometimes hope can be really hard to believe in and change can be really difficult. However, when hope is found it can be a great source of strength. When change is sought after, the stuck feeling begins to loosen and the true healing begins.
