I currently work for Catholic Charities and have done so since 2007. I have been working with children, adolescents, couples, and families for nearly 30 yrs years who are experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues. Some of those issues include but are not limited to: grief/loss, life stressors/traumas, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, behavioral issues in children, and ADHD. When I ask my client's what they are hoping to gain from therapy, most will summarize that they simply want to feel better! So that is what we (you and me) will set out to accomplish.
My goal is to help those in need find their inner strength and develop the coping skills to live happier, healthier lives. Besides using such therapies as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Behavioral Modification Therapy, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
