I am a mental health therapist who is based in Orange County, CA. I received my B.A in psychology and social behavior at the University of California Irvine. My area of study there centered on psychological and neurological functions of a person and how this contributes to each person's unique life experiences. I went on to receive my M.A for social welfare from the University of California Los Angeles. I enjoy helping/working with individuals and couples who are motivated to take charge of their life and work on becoming a better version of themselves.
My specialty areas involve working with individuals and couples who have gone through different traumas, life stressors, depression, anxiety, transitional changes, etc. I enjoy helping clients adapt, cope and grow. I believe that every client is uniquely different so I tailor my therapeutic modalities to the client's presenting needs.
My biggest strengths are my ability to see the light in the darkness, and at the same time, also be able to sit with client in the dark as needed. I always will start where the client is at, and build on their power. I like to empower my clients to make a change in their life and to take charge of their circumstances.
