Hello, I applaud you for your courage and willingness to seek help. You do not have to be alone in your struggle. The therapeutic setting is designed to be a safe and ideal environment free of judgment. As your therapist with years of private practice and education, I will serve as a conduit providing the tools, and shared knowledge to help you reach your goals the best of my ability. You as the client, set the pace, explore issues that are holding you back from finding peace and healing.
In all the situations clients have brought before me, I've found that empathy, respect & unconditional positive regard to be the comfort and support needed to help clients bring about positive change. A good client/therapist fit is important. If I do not have the required specialty training to help, I will do all I am able to help you find the right fit.
Awareness is the first step in change. Pain and suffering tell us it's time for change. You can successfully work to design and develop the life you want and deserve to be living. Our work together allows you to examine what does and does not help you in these efforts and then let go of what no longer serves you.
