Wanting to teach brought me to counseling, which ironically, has allowed me to explore the journey of life with those who seek guidance, and it is the aspect I perhaps love most about being a clinician. I am passionate about community which has led me to working with individuals, young adults, couples and their families in diverse settings such as private practice, therapeutic schools, outpatient treatment, residential treatment, and criminal justice settings.
I am trained in EMDR and trauma focused.
I specialize in working with addiction, spirituality, women's issues, self-esteem, family, couples, social skills, career, anxiety, depression, and multicultural issues.
