I have worked in the field of substance abuse and mental health since 2014; extensive experience working with athletes, adolescents, college students, and young professionals. Most recently I've worked with parents, families, and couples to help manage the emotional struggles of the family system. I am certified as an Arise Interventionist so I can aid families coping with a loved one's addiction. Ideal client's might be teenagers who are feeling stuck, college aged males who are unsatisfied in life or family members needing support with boundaries and attachment.
Asking for help can be overwhelming, I will meet you where you are at throughout the therapeutic process. I draw upon aspects of motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT & mindfulness. I cultivate a warm, supportive and trusting environment with clients who might be feeling stuck in bad patterns, negative behaviors or unhealthy relationships.
I use a non-judgmental approach to therapy as you are the expert of your own life. If you are feeling uncertain about who you are and what your purpose is in life, you are not alone!
