I love working with adults and teens to help them achieve their goals, pinpoint the things that are holding them back, and partner with them to increase both joy and peace in their lives. I work with people to help them through the issues they are experiencing and actively help them create practical plans to build better and more fulfilling lives. I believe everyone has the ability to improve their life, it's my honor to help others work through their hardship and sustain a high quality of life.
I rely heavily on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I believe people have valid and personal reasons that provide explanations as to what drives their emotions and actions; taking an in-depth look at people's lives and personal experiences provide great insight as to what has caused pain as well as how to work past it.
As a counselor, I place value on providing an empathetic and safe space for clients to work through their hardship and make strides towards better mental health. Starting the journey of counseling can be a big step, but is often well worth the time and effort invested. My goal for my clients is for them to experience more joy, peace, and contentment.
