Dealing with life stressors and finding ways to overcome challenges without appropriate support can be difficult. I provide mental health counseling for children, adolescents and adults who are having a difficult time coping with various stressors and challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavior management, low confidence, parenting, relational issues, adjusting to change and goal attainment. By employing a person-centered approach to treatment, I cultivate a supportive non-judgmental therapeutic experience which allows clients to discover and utilize their strengths to facilitate self-discovery, self-acceptance and growth.
I practice evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure-based interventions to assist clients with creating change and achieving desired outcomes, including managing emotions, behaviors and stressors effectively. I offer individual and group therapy. Based on clients' age or need, treatment can include some family involvement.
