Tierra specializes in assisting adults and women of color with postpartum depression, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. Using CBT, narrative therapy, and strengths-based methods, she helps clients reframe negative thoughts, build self-esteem, and develop coping strategies, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives with improved mental health.
I specialize in providing services to new mothers & parents in need of postpartum support. Using a strengths-based perspective, DBT, IFS, and Narrative therapy, I assist clients as they navigate birthing journeys and related traumas. I also offers services to women of color experiencing the adverse psychological effects of gendered racism.
One of my professional goals is to support clients by honoring their personal experiences, culture, and individual pace of healing. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic approach, advocating for the creation of balance through critical self-reflection, and I am dedicated to cultivating the necessary space for clients to explore themselves.
