First thing we do is discuss the presenting issue. The homework is to complete a personality style questionnaire that is key in helping to focus on the work. Then we see how the personality works with the presenting issue. Then we set up a way to address the issue that is tailored to the personality style. I assign common sense realistic ways for you to be able to use that will result in an immediate healthy sense of well being. I do individual and relationship counseling. I have the life and professional experience needed to help you.
1)The most important relationship we have is with ourselves. Our own sense of well being is not dependent on things outside of ourselves.
2)The second most important relationship we have is with our vision in life.
3) The third most important relationship we have is with our signficant other.
I do combine the educational benefits of western psychology with the wisdom of the eastern traditional ways that results in a simple to follow pathway to a sense of emotional health and well-being. In other words, Eckert Tolle and Dr. Phil can and do work well together.
