Hi, my name is Dr. Thomas Hollenbach, and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and also the founder and Director of the Integrative Therapy Institute of New Jersey. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and did my undergraduate work at Brown University. I've been practicing for over twenty years, and I do individual therapy with adults and adolescents and also couples therapy.
I do therapy in a way that is relaxed and friendly, but supportive and respectful. My sessions feel like real conversations with a real person, because that's the only way that clients will feel comfortable. I offer emotional support, especially when life is hard, but there are times when I ask clients to change.
My way of doing therapy has been successful enough that I started an Institute to teach my approach to other therapists.
