I am here to collaborate with my clients and explore how trauma, stress, and pain have rooted in their bodies. My clients report experiencing disconnection and dissociation from the emotional and physical experiences inside of them. As a consequence, they often only have connection to what is happening in their bodies and minds in moments of intense crisis, dysregulation, and severe need. In these moments, they feel ill-equipped, overwhelmed, and confused about how to navigating these consuming experiences. These clients typically share that they are consistently visiting this space of chaos with little to no control or autonomy.
I utilize somatically-oriented modalities to reconnect individuals to their internal experiences and calm their nervous systems down. Polyvagal theory and psycho-biology is used to give my clients understanding of their symptoms. Additionally, psychoanalysis and person-centered therapy are used to explore what trauma our bodies are re-experiencing everyday.
My work is soft, gentle, holistic, and slow. I do my best to be good to you and all your identities as well as create the safest environment for us to explore your healing and just rest together.
