Kids and teens have difficult and confusing things happen and need a space to process so they can move forward with freedom, confidence, and hope. You are not alone in looking for support for your child. Most kids don't want to sit still and talk about their feelings. They want to be heard and seen and have fun. We keep this in mind as combine various research based methods such as play therapy, sand tray therapy, wilderness therapy and interactive feedback to create a personalized intentional experience that is engaging, fun, and healing. I'm also Christian and my office is housed on a church campus.
I specialize in children and teens. Difficult transitions, divorce, family struggles, abuse, suicidal thoughts or attempts, anger, anxiety, trauma, loneliness, depression, and obsessive thoughts are all areas I have treated. I have training and experience in non-directive play therapy, sand tray, and multiple methods of talk therapy.
