Hello. Looking for a therapist can be stressful but ultimately rewarding. I enjoy helping relieve whatever might be blocking your access to joy and sense of purpose in life. With 25+ years of experience, I provide an empathic, non-judgmental setting in which to explore and shift areas of stuckness due to depression, anxiety, loss, addiction, relational or career difficulties, parenting struggles, sexuality/gender issues, existential aloneness, cultural displacement, family/traumatic history, or blocks in creativity, I believe finding resilience for life's twists and turns is key. I get actively involved, combining a flexible, open-minded and integrative approach.
My post graduate training integrates relational psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, EMDR, family therapy, 12 step models, CBT, mindfulness, Energy Psychology and guided imagery. Starting wherever you are, my goal is to help you better understand the origins of your difficulties, free yourself of old patterns, and feel more alive.
Whether in crisis or simply tired of unending depression, anxiety, or confusion, I provide a safe, confidential setting in which to seek solutions. Kept on my toes by teaching, supervising and publishing, I maintain a fresh approach and welcome the uniqueness of each patient who comes through my door.
