In this virtual group Erica Curry teaches DBT skills from the following modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. Mindfulness goals include: increasing a sense of self, increasing happiness and increasing control of your mind/attention. Distress tolerance goals: learn how to get through a stressful situation without making things worse. Emotion regulation goals: stay in control of your emotions and understand what they are trying to communicate. Interpersonal effectiveness goals: increase the likelihood you will get what you want, learn to build and maintain healthy relationships, learn how to maintain your own self-respect.
