As a play therapist, my passion is assisting children and their families in being able to process and heal through traumatic and difficult situations. I believe children are resilient and their main source of communication is through their play. I highly value offering a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental environment for individuals to begin making the changes and progress they are hoping for. By making these changes, our clients have the ability to live the life they want and do so successfully.
I approach the therapeutic process with a curious, positive, and non-judgmental attitude. I strive to utilize my connection with clients to create change they are wanting. I assist clients in being able to identify their natural strengths and gain insight to how these changes can be made. I highly value family dynamics and assisting change from within.
I offer a variety of therapeutic modalities for care to best suite the needs of my client and their families. Each client is unique and deserves their own special, individualized therapeutic approach. Areas of experience include: ADHD, anxiety, Autism, depression, ODD, abuse and trauma, childhood behavioral issues, self-esteem, and social skills.
