The impact of breast cancer can take a toll on survivors’ mental health and emotional well-being. Survivor's can experience depression, anxiety, and anger, changes in body image and esteem, feelings of hopelessness, isolation, despair, and fear of relapse and/or death. It is important for survivors to receive meaningful support for the unique emotional needs that often exist during the survivorship journey. In addition, family, friends, oncologists, surgeons, nurses, social workers, and physical therapists are some of the care providers who work with breast cancer survivors who also need support.
The Vow of Wellness, LLC is committed to providing meaningful support to breast cancer survivors and their care providers. Individual sessions and support groups provide the support survivors deserve. Workshops, trainings, speaking engagements, and consultations for care providers improve their understanding of survivors' needs as well as their own.
