Do you feel stuck, want to get unstuck, and for good? Do you KNOW all the things but struggle to implement and/or believe them about yourself? Maybe most importantly-do you like to nerd out about your brain-or are you at least open to learning enough to hack it so it works FOR you? If there's even 1 "yes", buckle up, and let's ride! I'm trained in EMDR and certified in neuropsychotherapy, which means we'll work with science to help you heal and move forward. We'll make sure your brain and body are telling the same story, that the story is accurate, and that it's the one you want to be living. We'll do this with humor and together!
My top two treatment focus areas are: 1. Assisting in trauma recovery and 2. Serving LGTBQ+ folx-separately, and concurrently. Within the LGBTQ+ community, I am currently most committed to supporting those in relationship/married. While all couples, regardless of orientation face challenges, I believe we here in the "Bible Belt" face challenges unique to us.
One of us is the expert on you, and it isn't me. In addition to therapist, I was also educated as a coach and I try to bring both elements to my practice.
