I am an international adoptee and have experience working with adolescents, couples, and families from all walks of life. I also enjoy working with people around the following areas: adoption, foster care, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, learning disability, interpersonal relationships, family conflict, life transitions, and crisis interventions.
In terms of therapeutic approaches, I use Strength based, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment based therapies, and Structural Family Therapy, among others.
I only work remotely, but sometimes in-person talk therapy is too intimidating, so this might be a good fit. My approach is strength based using humor, candidness, empathy and phyco-education. I create safe, confidential, and respectful relationships in order to assist with talking through challenging life experiences.
