I hold a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor license from Texas. I am also a licensed school psychologist as well. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. My practice specializes in women and children issues. I am an EMDR provider.

I've provided and supervised counseling services for over 30 years in a variety of settings with all age groups. My experience and training has convinced me of several things i.e., relationships define our sense of self; we look to our relationships for comfort and safety; when we are validated we function better and these important relationships support our continued growth and well-being. Michelle is the proud owner of Hill Country Intervention and Counseling, where she is a professional psychotherapist specializing in working with novice, competitive, elite, and professional athletes. Michelle’s additional specialty work includes eating disorders, behavioral disorders, substance abuse disorders, and process addiction. Michelle's typical client population ranges between 11 - 22 years of age.
