I am a dedicated mental health therapist with a specialization in working with clients aged 12 and older. With a strong background in human development and counseling, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges.

Bolivar is a native of South Florida, where he attended Florida State University’s School of Social Work. His studies focused on child welfare and cultural studies. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Social Work. Immediately following his undergraduate studies, Bolivar knew his life’s work would be helping youth overcome trauma and strengthen families. These passions led Bolivar to a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Child Welfare Studies.

Utilizing a Solution Focused, Cognitive approach, working with negative, fearful, and traumatic thoughts and perceptions and renewing and/or replacing them with enabling and productive thoughts. I provide help for individuals, families & or couples to gain coping skills to help manage or decrease problematic symptoms. The initial session begins with exchanging background and history to gain information to formalize a treatment plan. Accepting clients for days, evenings, & Saturday appts.

As an experienced therapist my passion is to help clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships. I'm an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas who believes in creating a trusting relationship with clients in order to understand their experiences and contexts. I also works hard to create a nonjudgmental and dynamic environment that amplifies strengths and examines unhelpful patterns that are no longer serving you. I will work with you to examine these patterns and shift them by creating new ways of coping.

I am a counselor and co-owner of Third Coast Counseling and Wellness. My masters degree is in Clinical Psychology and I have been working in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. I have worked in both private practice and public mental health services. I treat patients with and without health insurance using evidenced-based practices and down-to-earth sessions.
