I am person-centered, non-directive, and flexible based on my clients' individual needs; I also integrate techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT, and other therapies.
Sometimes it can feel like the world wasn't made for people who don't fit the "typical" mold. That's why I strive to honor the unique strengths of every client. I offer individual therapy for adults and teens, and I specialize in working with those who have ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, and people who are neurodivergent. I welcome those who LGBTQ+, marginalized, or are simply looking for someone to accept them for who they are. I also specialize in working with clients with "nerdy" interests such as video games and D&D.

I have also received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT) and often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to provide clients with important skills to challenge thoughts and improve confidence.
I primarily work with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, and perfectionism who are looking to gain confidence and reduce rigid thinking. I often find that this population struggles with being present due to second-guessing their performance or constantly feeling anxious about the next task. In some cases, this can even lead to unhealthy coping skills. They want to be able to learn how to have more flexible thinking, self-compassion, and healthy coping skills. I also enjoy working with clients who are going through difficult life transitions in addition to grief.

I use a combination of somatics, EMDR, DBT, and CBT.
Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I believe we are all meant to live a life we truly love and feel excited about living, but through our life experiences and traumas we picked up beliefs and behaviors that can keep us stuck in unwanted patterns. My goal for us is to identify the unhelpful blocks, process them, and create new narratives that truly align with your unique heart and spirit. I believe in taking a holistic approach with clients. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher and Reiki Practitioner which influences my approach.

I am trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ( DBT), and now Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
We all need someone to hear our story, to respect our tears, and to help us be courageous as we walk the path toward healing. I stay present through your pain, hurt, and discovery. Trauma, doubt, and fear can easily consume our thoughts, and provoke emotional distress and a sense of loss. Beginning the processing step can feel scary, but it certainly doesn't have to be a journey you take alone. I am here, ready to hear your story and help you navigate these feelings and reconnect you with your authentic self. Let me know how I can help.

Some of the treatment approaches I usually use are CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Solution-Focused, Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, Inner-child healing techniques, the Gottman Method  and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT).
The path to mental health is not easy or linear, to the contrary is bumpy and confrontive. I decided to pursue my career as a counselor to help other people take on the adventure to walk the path of self-awareness and growth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I'm also a certified bilingual counselor. Personas que solo hablen espanol son completamente bienvenidas!

Additionally, I utilize DBT, and self compassion skills and resources.
We all deserve a life worth living. I specialize in working with the Latin American/Hispanic identifying population, particularly women. If you are an immigrant or a child of immigrants, familial and cultural expectations may conflict with your own sense of self. You might feel pressured to fulfill a certain role, may repeat dysfunctional generational patterns or feel like the past is present due to traumatic events. My approach is trauma informed, person centered and culturally affirming. If you are ready to improve your mental health & overall quality of life, psychotherapy can help.

I rely on trauma informed CBT, DBT, Attachment and Mindfulness based theories and strategies to treat a wide range of mental and emotional ailments.
I'm Amanda Frazier, LCSW. My goal is to help people navigate life in a meaningful way. We all experience a wide range of thoughts, feelings and emotions that can be really challenging. With some experiences more distressing than others it can certainly help to seek support. I help clients explore their inner complexities, calm the inner critic, manage intense emotions, adapt troubling behaviors and feel more grounded over time. I encourage folks to take small steps towards change and celebrate progress over perfection. Together we consider what's contributing to distress and overwhelm and establish a plan to manage daily life.

I mainly use a CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based integrated approach.
Is your life not going the way you want it to go? I'm here to help clients through hardships/struggles as we focus on fostering happier, healthier, and more peaceful times. I use an integrated approach, working collaboratively with clients to meet the goals they desire. If you are stressed, experiencing anxiety, depression, family drama, are a parent seeking support for a child/teen, or just want to talk to someone who will listen, then give me a call. I work with my clients at a pace comfortable for them while also gently pushing from time to time because growth and progress are often found outside our comfort zones.

I find it important to teach my clients how to understand, sense and manage their emotions through a variety of methods-CBT, DBT, Sandtray and Life Span Integration and Somatic Transformation, a body based method of trauma treatment.
I have more than two decades of experience in working with a wide range of client ages, but my practice focuses on individual adults only. I utilize a combination of both cognitive behavioral, somatic and sand tray interventions in order to create opportunities to express emotions, find meaning and instill hope for positive change. I enjoy working with adults on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD and other neurodiverse people and have received additional training in these areas.
